Application and Waiver
These Terms & Conditions must be signed a parent or legal guardian in ink prior to starting the camp. By applying to attend Young Leaders Program, you agree to ALL of the following:
First, that application is not a guarantee of acceptance to the program NOR does it form any sort of obligation or bond between Young Leaders and the applicant or their family;
Second, that there are fees and costs associated with the program that must be paid, AND until those fees are paid or otherwise funded by scholarship, sponsorship, or some other means that registration is not final, AND that Young Leaders retains all right to determine the allocation of scholarships AND that the applicant nor their parent have any right to scholarship or sponsorship funds directly, AND that Young Leaders maintains full authority over final acceptance and that ALL fees, if any, will be paid in full before attending,

The Young Leaders Program recognizes and supports its participants’ rights to freedom of speech, expression and association, including the use of online social networks. In this context, however, each participant must remember that participating in the Young Leaders Program program is a privilege, not a right. As a participant, you represent the Young Leaders Program and are expected to portray yourself, your school and the Program in a positive manner at all times. Any online postings must therefore be consistent with federal and state laws, Willamette University rules, and Young Leaders Program rules, regulations and policies (including the Guidelines listed below).
If you participate on a social networking site or use social media, you must keep the following guidelines in mind:
The Young Leaders Program reserves the right to have our staff members review and/or monitor other participants’ social networking sites and postings.
Any violation of law or of Willamette University and Young Leaders Program rules, regulations or policies, or evidence of such violation in your online content, is subject to investigation and possible immediate censure by the Young Leaders Program staff and/or law enforcement agencies. Internal consequences may include, but are not limited to, notice to remove the content and dismissal from the Young Leaders Program and forfeiture of any fees or deposits.

Young Leaders staff, applicants, or others that register for on our website or applicable materials, and individuals that sign up to receive Young Leaders communications and e-communications voluntarily provide us with contact information (such as name and e-mail address). We may use this information for specific, limited purposes. You may always "opt out," either now or at any time in the future, if you do not wish to receive our messages.
Young Leaders uses your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer YLProgram.org, and for statistical metrics used to track website visitor traffic.

Intellectual Property Agreement
We respect the intellectual property rights of others, and we ask that you do the same.
The Young Leaders logos and iconography are owned by Young Leaders and used throughout the world by its authorized licensees. The Young Leaders logo and other iconography is also protected by intellectual property laws and must be used only in accordance with these Terms.
You may use the Young Leaders name and the Young Leaders Logo, and create further derivatives of the Young Leaders Program Logo, in connection with a Young Leaders Event, provided that you use the Young Leaders name and the Young Leaders Logo only in connection with Young Leaders events that meet the guidelines provided by the Young Leaders, including without limitation, these Terms. If you create a derivative of the Young Leaders name and logo that will be used with an Young Leaders Event, you must follow the Young Leaders Formatting Standards Guide (to be provided by Young Leaders), and such derivatives may not be registered as trademarks in the U.S. or any other jurisdiction worldwide. You may use the Young Leaders name and logo in connection with other educational activities only with the prior written consent of Young Leaders, which Young Leaders may withhold for any reason in its sole discretion.
Except for any third-party content used as part of Young Leaders, the data and materials on Young Leaders Sites, including without limitation the Young Leaders name and logo, text, software, graphics, photos, music, videos, and all other audible, visual, or downloadable materials, as well as the selection, organization, coordination, compilation, and overall look and feel of the Young Leaders Program (collectively, “Young Leaders Content”) are the intellectual property of Young Leaders.
