Young Leaders Program 2023
has NOW Ended but
We'll be back in 2024!
The Young Leaders Program is a yearly, residential summer program* for secondary students that focuses on leadership, governance, civics, and personal development. Program domains further focus student learning in any one of numerous domains, including: governance, business/commerce, law/jurisprudence, criminal justice, media/technology, journalism, and medicine.
Throughout the program, students live and work in a micro-nation that simulates the United States, learning key areas of citizenship and adulthood. As they progress in the program, they develop new understandings of how to lead oneself, and then how to lead others. Students develop a personal management strategy based on The Seven Habits and GTD, and learn the importance of fiscal responsibility and civic engagement.
