A Foundation of SuccessMost homeless programs offer basics: food, shelter, and access to some services, usually schooling and counseling.
HOTELLA addresses all of these plus the other—often overlooked— needs students have in order to become fully realized adults. Civics Education is Key to AdvancementAt Young Leaders we believe that citizens who are equipped with an understanding of the US System of Government and how to engage and meaningfully participate in our legislative process can make a difference in the lives of their community, nation, and world! As such, we have a strong focus on learning about civics as part of our leadership program, including giving students the opportunity to participate in self-governance through our SimuNation experience, wherein students may run for office, make law, and meaningfully impact their own lives within the program.
