STaff Information For 2024

Stipends: Stipend will be paid according to the stipend chart in the staff handbook. Click here for information.
Mileage: We can pay mileage to help you get to camp.
Shirts: If you already have enough shirts for camp, please let us know. We are only ordering shirts for staff who don't have at least 5.
Staff arrival
- Staff should check-in to with Steve at Linfield before Saturday July 8th at noon, preferably on Friday.
- If you need to be early/late, please let Steve know ASAP.
- We will transporting most gear from the Corporate Office to Linfield on Friday around 10AM, so if you can come help us please come to the Corporate Office.
- Early Arrivals: If you are traveling and would like to come early on Friday, you can stay at the Corporate Office. There are couches, air mattresses, etc.
Self-Care: We have a wellness team this year to support students and staff who need a break. Please tell them how much you appreciate them!
Attendance: we are expecting about 50 students this year, and 25 staff.
Funds are very tight this year pending receipt of some grants, so please plan to be frugal with any needs.
Linfield Protocols:
- Moving furniture is okay; just take photos and plan to put things back when your done!
- Use blue tape only on walls
- You do not need a parking permit. Parking is free!
- Be sure to be aware of security and safety and keep things locked. (Remember even out at Aldarsgate we still managed to attract some random weird guy!)
New CTE (Career and Technical Education) Component: We have added CTE time to the schedule daily. This is to qualify for a grant we are working on. Any ideas on how to engage students in CTE please connect with Steve.
We will be only using Google Suite this year... no AirTable.

It's time to get ready for Young Leaders! Please note the following:

Google Chat:
- Please install Google Chat on your phone and sign into your YL account. https://www.ylprogram.org/staffresources/chat
- Please turn your notifications on. This will ensure you are getting messages related to camp in a timely manner.
- At the least you should be in the All Staff and 911 channels. If you muted these please unmute them.
Staff Meetings: We have meetings each Sunday night for the next two weeks at 7PM Pacific on Google Meet. Please plan to attend.
Calendar: Please add the staff calendar to your phone: https://www.ylprogram.org/staffcalendar.html Click the +Google Calendar to add this to your device.
Handbook: Please review the staff handbook: https://www.ylprogram.org/staffresources/handbook
Arrival: Please message me on Google Chat and tell me what time you plan to arrive AND if you need lodging Friday night before camp.
